Organic Diversity on my Plate

Food glorious food…

We had purple broccoli with dinner last night – quite good, leafier and a nice change from the garden variety broccoli (pun intended). Got it from Robert and Sue the organic gardeners – man can they grow stuff, the broccoli was grown over the Winter in their outdoor garden! (Eat your hearts out, everywhere-else-in-Canada. :o)

Last Fall we also got what I consider the world’s largest spaghetti squash (26″ long) from the same garden – talk about all-you-can-eat. Here’s a bit on where it came from: Organic Garden 2011 (scroll down that page a bit to get to the garden).
